The MXR ’78 Custom Bad Ass Distortion is the first pedal in the Custom Badass series, known for its massive cabinet sounds and “old-school” tube-like distortion. The ’78 distortion features a classic distortion circuit that has been “upgraded” to deliver its exceptional sound. MXR’s pedal incorporates three (3) potentiometers, highlighting the simplicity of its design and user-friendly operation. Additionally, it includes the “Crunch” option, enhancing the generated signal, dynamic range, and harmonic character of the distortion. The MXR ’78 can be powered by a single 9 Volt battery or the Dunlop ECB003 power supply. Specifications:
